Since September of 2020, I’ve had the pleasure of having my own regular streaming series on Twitch TV, telling stories and making a spectacle for an interactive audience of nearly 1,000 subscribers and supporters.
Inspired by Ryan George’s amazing comedy sketches which poke fun at popular movies by showcasing how their strangest moments came to be, BTU Live! retells these stories in the style of the ancient bard, with unscripted retellings of classic mythology and superhero stories involving the community and BTU fans in the tales.
The live streaming broadcast features an optimistic but technologically-challenged host and an ambitious production schedule telling asynchronous stories with a smile on his face.
I’ve produced over 1,000 hours of BTU Live!, which have garnered about 25 thousand views.
